Display custom fields only for single views
I have created custom module for Single Taxonomy View display content on homepage.
and module has two function like this

$view->set_display('page_1');
$view->set_heading('Simple view');
$view->display_handler->set_option('group_by',1);
$output = $view->render();
return $output;

I think the $view->set_display('page_1') is what is giving you the trouble. You are trying to override the display for the whole view, not just the page1 section. You should remove that part and just do this:
$output = $view->display_handler->render($view);
The $view->set_display('page_1') is changing the display of the whole view, but only the page1 views,
