Version 38, December 2011 - This version fixes
the 'rpducksnort' and 'notify_service' malfunctions in the garmin
mobile XT 5.x firmware.
If the alerts are lost and the device won't recognize any satelites
and it's like that since you start using a device (1-2 months),
it might be a problem with the GPS module.
In that case, you may flash a firmware which is a bit more recent
from
Version 36, July 2010 - New sincal version of
the garmin mobile 5.x firmware.
This should fix the problems in software version 1.1.
In addition, the firmware also includes support for the new data-logging
mode 'log every second' in the log-viewer.

Version 34, June 2010 - This version fixes a
problem in garmin mobile firmware that prevents the unit to reboot
the unit when switching off the data-logging
mode.
The version-change also fixes some problems with the Garmin-Voyager
Connect when running with older Firmware.
Version 32, May 2010 - The firmware version fixes
the problems of the older Firmware (Version 1.0 and Version 1.1)
which are used by older devices.
Version 31, April 2010 - This version is the
new minimum recommended firmware for older devices and especially
for the Garmin-Voyager Connect.
Because of new features and improvements, the old firmware may
introduce new problems, which are not listed here.
Version 30, March 2010 - This version fixes
some problems that are introduced by the new firmware.
The last important change is the firmware version number.
Version 29, February 2010 - Garmin Mobile is
more and more a very handy device, so we need a more user-friendly
firmware.
The new firmware version is number 29, released at 29/2/2010.
