The profanity is more focused on and completely removed, but there is no reduction in any online content. There will be no meat splatter if the player shoots a person but only a small cloud of blood. Blood and gore is still present in "Blood and Iron", as it is a vehicle level. In Zombies, it is still possible to decapitate a zombie, but there is no blood or meat chunk splatter. It is still possible to create crawlers, however their legs will stay connected to their bodies and will drag behind them as they move. Split Screen is completely unaffected, and online is reduced to less common than split screen.

In this game, blood and gore are completely removed from all offline interactions and multiplayer. In pre-rendered cutscenes, the curse filter for subtitles is enabled by default, regardless if the content filter is enabled or not.

Call Of Duty 2 Gore Mod

In Zombies mode, when playing solo, there is no blood from damaging zombies and no gore whatsoever. The opening cutscene and the outro in Call of the Dead are not edited, however. Note that blood is not caused by weapons like the knife or M1911.

Remains mostly unchanged from Black Ops, just that most profanity is muted instead of replaced. All blood and gore is turned off with the filter enabled. The word "God" and the related (such as "damn it") have been muted to not offend anyone adhered to a religion. It is still possible though to make crawlers on zombies in the map Buried by using the head chopper, although their legs will still be attached. Using the graphic filter option basically takes away everything "18" about the game.

The Graphic Content Filter appears in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and has been significantly improved since Call of Duty: Black Ops II. This time around, all cursing is removed in the campaign and Nightmares during gameplay, plus all the cursing is blocked out in cutscenes. Even in online play, blood and gore is completely removed; in campaign and Nightmares cutscenes, profanitive scenes with blood and gore are pixeled out.

Cursing in zombies is also removed, and the blood and gore are turned off. Zombies can still become crawlers though, but they will not lose their legs. Also, zombies do not lose their heads upon lethal headshots, though the "headshot" sound effect is still used.

This is very important, so please heed this. If your game is NOT installed to the default location, then you will need to set the installation path as follows: "x:\game path\Merciless"(x:\ = drive where game is installed)(game path = directory where game is installed).----------------------------------------Running a Server----------------------------------------To run a server do the following: 1) Start Call of Duty Multiplayer2) Select the "Mods" menu option3) Select "Merciless" from the mods list4) Click "Launch" 5) When game restarts afterwards, select "Create Server" 6) Click through the gametypes until you get to the desired "Merciless" gametype7) Select the server options for that gametype8) Click start to start the server ----------------------------------------COnfiguring a linux server----------------------------------------1) Create a folder "merciless" in your main cod on your server (where the "cod_lnxded" is located) 2) Upload the both pk3 files (Merciless_beta_3.pk3, z_mc_bloodfx_v5.pk3) in the merciless folder 3) copy the "game.mp.i386.so" from your "main" folder to the merciless folder4) in your "default_mp.cfg" you have to set this variables: set g_gametype "tdm" //Global Merciless Toggleset sv_merciless 1//Global PRM Toggleset sv_prm 1//Merciless cVarsset scr_painsounds "1" set scr_dripblood "1" set scr_bloodpools "1" set scr_healthdrops "1" set scr_weapondrops "1" 5) now go into your root cod dir and type the following: ./cod_lnxded +set fs_game merciless ----------------------------------------Connecting to a server----------------------------------------To connect to a server you MUST have the Merciless mod installed (see installation instructions above). All you need to do is simply connect to the server, no need for anything else!! Merciless will NOT interfere with other mods since it runs from it's own Mod folder. ----------------------------------------FAQ----------------------------------------Q) I am seeing fire & flames when I shoot someone, what the heck??! This mod sucks...A) now now, calm down...chances are you don't have th emod installed properly. Please make sure you pay very close attention to the instructions for installation. If yuou are still experiencing problems, then contact me at c-a-p@cox.net and I will get your problem resolved. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q) Can I play my custom maps with this mod?? A) Yes!! The 0.5 version of Merciless currently supports all available nationalites and all "official" gametypes-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q) Can I use this mod with any other mods?? A) Well, I cant say for sure to be honest. Some mods will work, others wont. In general, I would urge you to temporarily disable any other mods besides Merciless while playing on a Merciless server. I will try my best to make this work with any mod, so please contact me if you want to discuss compatability with other mods. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q) How do I activate the PRM Realism Features? The cVars are as follows:sv_prm 1 , enables PRM Realism Features (shellshock, drop weapon on hand/arm hit)sv_prm 2, disables PRM Realism Featuressv_merciless 1, enables all Merciless features (sounds, blood pools, extended damage, etc)sv_merciless 2, disables all Merciless featuresAlso, of most importance here...I removed all of the specific shellshock c-vars. I know , I know..before you get too upset, let me explain. I modified how the shellshock was being implimented. I have it set now so that it's more "damage" based than weapon based as it was originally. I know you will let me know if you don't like it...remember...I listen to what you say, and if the majority feels like it should be the 'old 'way, then I will revert it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Much of the level's development constituted designing the massacre.[12] In the first iteration of "No Russian", the massacre ended once the group of civilians were killed outside the elevator, which then transitioned into a firefight. Alavi felt that having an emotional scene abruptly shift into a firefight was "gimmicky". He altered the level to prolong the massacre.[13] He also removed scenes with children or families hugging each other to reduce player trauma.[12] "No Russian" initially featured a limited amount of gore, a decision that was changed when the wife of lead artist Joel Emslie questioned the authenticity of such a level without blood.[14] Due to the level's emotionally charged set piece, some of the voice actors became tearful while reciting their lines.[15] 2ff7e9595c
